FROM A YOUNG AGE FLOYD WAS RAISED IN THE CHURCH. HE AND HIS FAMILY JOINED DAHLONEGA BAPTIST CHURCH IN DAHLONEGA, GA. FLOYD RESPECTED GODS AUTHORITY OVER HIS LIFE AND HE WAS THANKFUL FOR EACH AND EVERY DAY.

FLOYD WAS ACTIVE IN HIS COMMUNITY OFTEN SUPPORTING MISSIONS AND WAS KNOWN TO VOLUNTEER IN NEIGHBORHOOD CLEAN-UPS IN VARIOUS CITIES ACROSS GA. HE WOULD GO UNDER BRIDGES TO HELP FEED THE HOMELESS, HE HELP SPONSOR FUN EVENTS FOR CHILDFREN AND HE OFTEN MENTIONED HIS DESIRE TO MENTOR. YOU COULD HAVE FLOYDS LAST DOLLAR ANYTIME AND HE WOULD SAY “I GOT YOU”. HE NEVER USED THE WORDS FRIEND OR ASSOCIATE, HE ALWAYS SAID YOU WERE HIS BROTHER, SISTER OR CUZ.

A MUSIC LOVER, FLOYD, OFTEN TIMES USED MUSIC AS A WAY TO EXPRESS HIMSELF AND COULD USE ANY OBJECT TO MAKE HIS BEATS.  HE COLLABORATED WITH OTHER ARTIST WHICH RESULTED IN HIM BEING ONE OF THE CO-FOUNDING MEMBERS OF THE GROUP “ABG” KNOWN FOR THEIR LOCAL HIT “ALL BLACK EVERYTHING”

FLOYD WAS PROUD OF HIS FAMILY AND LOVED EVERY MEMBER, ESPECIALLY HIS SONS TAVION, TRISHTON, AND TITUS.  AS HIS CHILDREN WERE BORN, FLOYD MADE SURE THEY ALL HAD THE SAME INITIALS AND GAVE EACH ONE OF THEM “FLOYD” AS A MIDDLE NAME.  FLOYD LOVED FOOTBALL AND ENCOURAGED HIS SONS IN THE SPORT. HE INSISTED ON BEING AT ALL OF THEIR PRACTICES AND AT EVERY GAME.  A FUN AND LOVING DAD, HE COULD BE FOUND OUTSIDE TOSSING THE FOOTBALL, STAYING UP ALL NIGHT ON WEEKENDS PLAYING VIDEO GAMES WITH HIS BOYS, OR HANGING OUT AT HOME WATCHING A MOVIE WITH HIS FAMILY.

FLOYD GENUINELY LOVED PEOPLE AND WILL BE GREATLY MISSED BY ALL WHO KNEW HIM, BUT WOULD WANT US TO BE ENCOURAGED IN KNOWING - WE WILL SEE HIM AGAIN.
