Was an honor to know him. Mick was always there to help out until the very end. He'll be missed.

We will miss Mick's positive attitude and pure joy for living - especially his love of flying. Saturdays in the air with Mick and Mick's frequent visits to Harrison's office will be truly missed by Harrison. Their time together meant so much to Harrison and I'm sure the stories they shared will be cherished forever. We hope the family will call on us for anything we can do for them through these difficult times. We've lost a true friend.

Mick was the very best friend a person could ever hope to have! From the days of our budding friendship in the Eastern Air Line's Chief Pilot's office, and all the laughter aside, Mick was an incredible commercial airline Captain (DC-9). He was a meticulous person particularly proud of his "Cowboy Cadillac's" souped-up engine, and his spotlessly maintained private plane, amongst other things. Mick had a wonderful sense of humour, a generous spirit, and a sharp mind for detail. Our mutual love of travel, photography (from his USN days) and swimming, and talk of the antics of our distant cousin dogs: his Molly (sic?) a Black Labrador retriever and my four Golden Retrievers, and his unending love for his ol' Eastern Air Lines pilots and friends- the memories will be cherished forever. Mick was my 'go to guy' every pool opening day and pool closing day for much needed words of advice on how to keep my lap pool in perfect balance, a la Mick's Pool Service, with Debbie's old sand filter I nicknamed the "pod.” I even called him to pick his brain before I bought my wet suit since I knew he had been a certified scuba diver.
Yes, Mick Hudson was truly my oldest, dearest friend, who watched my late daughter grow from a little girl to a young woman before losing her battle with breast cancer. As a little person, when she would see Mick and his co-pilots gathered in the pilot's crew area, adjacent to my work area in the Chief Pilot's office, she remarked that Mick's uniform reminded her of a penguin! The whimsical moniker was received by Mick with his usual joyful laugh, since the EAL uniform was a classic black suit, white shirt and gold trim.
There are hardly enough words to express how much Clyde Benton 'Mick' Hudson will be missed. May his soul rest in Peace. I will continue to pray for his beloved family, and I thank God for having Mick as my friend.

Mick was a dear friend who will be missed. I'm glad I was able to share so many things and events with him over the past few years. He will be missed at our breakfast on every Tuesday. He will be missed at our QB meetings. He will be missed on our lunches every Friday. He will be missed at the airport lunches. He was such a big part of my life. We will always be thinking about him and the place he has in our hearts.

So very sorry to hear of Mick's passing. We will miss seeing him and his dog out for a walk. He had a wonderful since of humor. He always stopped and spoke to everyone.

I have just now heard of Mick's passing and could not let this moment go by without telling Marianne and the family of my sorrow for their loss. My father Earl Acuff was Mick's accountant for years until his passing in 2010 and that's when I got to know Mick and provided accounting and tax services to him as well. It was always a pleasure to see Mick as he always had a smile, quick wit, and sunshine attitude that he brought with him whenever we were meeting. God Bless you in the days ahead and may God bring sweet memories to mind every time you think of Mick!
