A member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Mrs. Sims loved her family dearly and her Gleamor Sunday School Class. She loved to travel during fall to the Blue Ridge Parkway to see God’s beautiful landscape. Survivors include husband, Roger Felton Sims; children, Rex Sims, Russell Sims and Rhonda Palmer; grandchildren, Reed Sims, Austin Sims, Anna Sims and Shelby Palmer; sisters, Manona Daniel and Mary Sanders.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Oak Grove Baptist Church Youth Department. Online condolences may be sent to Ward’s Funeral Home, 758 Main Street, Gainesville, Ga.
