Memorial services for John Morris South, 72, of Toccoa will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday August 5, 2018 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church 5233 Will Wheeler Road, Murrayville, GA. Rev. Steve Baker will officiate. Mr. South passed away June 19, 2018. Formerly of Toccoa, Mr. South has lived in Sarasota, Florida for 25 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles W. and Mae (Collins) South and brothers, Charles Ronald South, Sr. and Floyd Milton South. Survivors include brother and sister in law, Jim and Karen South; nieces and nephews, Charles R. and Debbie South, Jr, Amy Lynn (South) and Todd Sutherland, Stephen Eric and Elaine South, James Andrew and Katie South; numerous great nieces, great nephews and other family members.
